It was a revealing point for when the visual background I which I had was forbidden in learning psychoanalysis that left me at odds with most of what I once knew. In situating myself again I used my visual skills to try and introduce something different but not necessarily new Mi Luv yu bad, depending on how you looked at it.
However by trying to use a more structural visual language of geometry. What was revealing was how my psychoanalytic knowledge / experience drew my attention from the line made by the compass to its point. Yes they both work together but losing that starting point for me has drastic results.
The connection between the point and the rest of its reference points revealed how the hole left on the paper is what is important for the end result. The point made by the compass does have two sides, not all points do.
